Is wasn’t very long ago that all had seemed lost in this space… extra pressure from APRA to clear the Interest-only investor loans from the banks books only gave the banks a free ride to increase rates… while that didn’t stop everyone, the stake in the heart was lowering the LVR of many interest only investor loans to 80% and lower…

That was around 2 years ago…

…and since then we have seen the dramatic drop in interest-only investor loans in this market. The fact that the labor government was also looking to slash negative gearing wasn’t helping either. We had a proper recipe for a property pricing disaster….

Thankfully for everyone, nothing stays put forever. Now, with the RBA cash rate at a historic low and many economists now predicting house prices have reached the price floor, it could be a great time for you to grow your portfolios with an investment property.

Especially if you have been living in your property for a while and you have a nice bit of equity to use up. So many of my clients that come to me and say that they are looking to invest into an investment property are always so surprised at just how easy it is.

Many think that they have to save a new deposit. Like they did when they bought their first house however, this is not the case. More likely then not (and this happens a lot) you ending up paying less then what you are already paying now (yes for real).
